EA Games

EA Games are video games that have brought a revolution in the gaming industry. Well, what do the word ‘EA’ in ‘EA Games’ stands for? You probably knew the answer. Yes, EA stands for Electronic Arts. Being a great fan of EA games, you might be curious in knowing a few facts about the company which had/has developed your favourite EA Games.

Electronic Arts, Inc. (EA) is the organization which develops markets and distributes the so called EA games. The man behind Electronic Arts, Inc is Trip Hawkins who hired designers and programmers to develop EA games as early as 1982. During that time, the company developed only home computing games that laid the foundation of today’s EA games.

The company started to develop video game consoles by 1990. It is only because of the perseverance of those game developers that has brought up EA as the world’s largest third party publisher. These days, the organization keeps on releasing several unique EA games to make us happy as well as crazy. Children and teenagers love to play those EA games that are based on the most reputed movie licenses.

Electronic Arts, Inc has made ‘EA’ a brand name and all the game varieties manufactured by the organization are named as EA games, bearing EA labels. The game varieties include action, adventure, role play, racing and combat games. The company has also given a new dimension to gaming by developing multiplayer online role playing games. EA games have two siblings: EA Sports and EA Play.

You and I know about the high quality of EA games. However, people believe it only if you tell a fact with evidence. Metacritic is a game review aggregation site that reviewed all the popular game consoles and gave rating to each of them. Nintendo gained 74.5 points; our favourite EA games got 72 points with Microsoft and Sony grabbing 71.6 and 71.2 points respectively.

EA games provide a great entertainment for those who play it. I relish each and every moment of my play. Thanks for Electronic Arts Inc, for presenting me and other game-freaks with the amazing EA games.
